Aisea is the Tongan way to spell ‘Isaiah’. As in Isaiah from the Bible (thanks Missionaries!)

Aisea is also pronounced the same way you would read ‘Isaiah’, but over the years I’ve come to accept the (often hilarious) variations on this theme, including Asia, Aiesha, Alicia. Each one taken in my stride.

I’m a Senior Brand Planner at Saatchi & Saatchi New York, having joined the company five years ago in the Sydney office. I currently work across General Mills, Cadbury and New Business with overview of some international business, including Australia Network.

Previously, at 23, I was the youngest-ever head of a department at Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney when I was asked to set up Industry@Saatchi, a strategy thinktank that was hired by the likes of Sony, Macquarie Capital, the ABC, UNSW, both Federal and State Government and Toyota to conduct research and rethink their sacred cows. In the short time, we won awards locally and abroad. In addition, I had the pleasure of partnering with my friends at Saatchi Design.

This year, I moved to New York to embark on a new adventure, meet new people and, importantly, broaden my perspective on people and culture. I hope to use this blog to achieve all three goals. And I hope that you, dear reader, make the most of the many social network platforms to reach me to talk, share ideas and share a beverage.
